They do not decide what we recommend, what we criticize, or which alternatives we include. Each page is written so it remains useful to you even if every affiliate link were removed. How we mark affiliate links

  • Affiliate links use rel="nofollow sponsored" so search engines do not pass authority to the destination and so the relationship is machine-readable.
  • Pages with affiliate links also include a short visible disclosure near the top of the page.
  • We do not hide affiliate links behind generic anchor text. If a link points to a buying page, the surrounding context makes that clear.
